Book Review: The Brotherhood of Piaxia

Title:  The Brotherhood of Piaxia Author:  Michael Drakich Pages : 340 Language: English Published : March 15th 2012 Summary:  Years have passed since the overthrow of the monarchy by the Brotherhood of Warlocks and they rule Piaxia in peaceful accord. But now forces are at work to disrupt this rule form outside the Brotherhood as well as within! Follow Tarlok, Savan and Tessia as their paths intertwine, with the Brotherhood in pursuit and the powerful merchant's guild manipulating the populace for their own end. Review:  The Brotherhood of Piaxia had a slow start, something that I dislike. But the action starts after some chapters, and then it was hard to put it down. The plot was very good, I really enjoyed how the book had put the plot in the center. Many other books, put the characters in center and that can be a bit boring. I liked Drakich writing style, he used a style that I  appreciate. It was easy to read, but I had to read some parts twice.  The book co

My curiosity came afterwards and I knew I had to read this book.  The Boo Hag revolves around Lenny, a 16 year old girl with good grades and normal life. Meet Makayla, a druid in training who is plagues by dreams about a treasure from long ago. Along the way Makayla's dedication and loyalty will be tested and she will find help where she least expects it. In the end Makayla will discover that in order to succeed, she will first have to believe in herself. Review: The story revolves around Makayla and her bad dreams. (The bad dreams about the dragon's eye and the burning city.) At first I was a little confused, I was wondering what a Giadi or a Kedo was, and also had a lot of other questions. I'm that kind of person that easily gives up on books that don't give me the answers fast. B
