Book Review: The Scorch Trails

Title: The Scorch Trails (The Maze Runner #2)
Author: James Dashner
Genre: Fantasy
Pages: 368
Language: English
Publisher: Delacorte Books for young readers

Summary:
Solving the Maze was supposed to be the end. No more puzzles. No more variables. And no more running. Thomas was sure that escape meant he and the Gladers would get their lives back. But no one really knew what sort of life they were going back to.

In the Maze, life was easy. they had food, and shelter, and safety... untill Teresa triggered the end. In the world outside the Maze, however, the end was triggered long ago.

Burned by syn flares and baked by a new, brutal climate, the earth is a wasteland. Government is gone. and with it, order- and now Cranks, people covered in infected wounds and driven to murderous insanity by the terrible disease know as the Flare, roam the crumbling cities hunting for their next victim... and meal.

The Gladers are far from finished with running. Instead of freedom, they find themselves faces with another trail. They must cross the Scorch, the most burned-our section og the world, and arrive at safe haven in two week. And WICKED had made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.

My Opinion
Since the first book was really good, then my expatiation's to it were big. And I got what I wanted and more. The book is thrilling from the first page to the last words, and when I first started to read it, I couldn't stop!

My favorite character has to be Mino, he is awesome and so full of life! Of course I like Thomas too, but I kinda never like the main character and I used to like Theresa, but I dislike her now, because she did some awful things to Thomas!.

James Dashner have done a great job and I recommend this book for young adults.
I give this book 6 stars

Feature and Follow (5)

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by  Alison Can Read  and  Parajunkee Q: What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too. A: To be honest, none. I haven't seen a word that I had to look up. Of course I have seen words I don't know, but I have understood them, since I understood the rest of the sentence.

Feature and Follow

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by  Alison Can Read  and  Parajunkee Q: Worst cover? What is the worst cover of a book that you've read and loved ? A: The worst cover on a book I have read and loved must be Freaky Green Eyes by Joyce Carol Oates. I really liked that book, it was great! But the cover was so disturbing. Just take a look: Very ugly right?  BTW: Gærne grønne øyne mens Freaky green eyes. This is how the Norwegians book looks like. BTW2: I have a giveaway on my blog, check it out:  giveaway
