Just like Thomas, the Gladers don't know why or how they got to the Galde. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they've closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift. 


Thomas was expected. But the nest day, a girl is sent up, the first girl to ever arrive in the Galde. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers. 

Thomas might be more important the he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.


Review: 

I thought this book was really good. The Maze Runner was exciting for the beginning and to the end. If you like fantasy, mysteries and action then you should read this book. 


I recommend this book for young over the age of 15, as the book can be rather brutal on som occasions. But I really liked the action. 


The end was fantastic, although somewhat difficult to understand. I myself had to read this part twice. I enjoyed the twist. I love books with mysteries, because they challenge their readers to solve the riddles themselves. But in this book, the ending show that the solution is way different form what you expected. The Maze Runner was also sad, something that led to tears. 


The book is written in third person, which worked well and made it easy to read. 


To conclude, this book is worth reading.
