Author Interview With Debbie Davies!

Here is an author interview with the amazing author Debbie Davies (author of Any Love But Mine)

-          Tell us a little bit about yourself
Well my names Debbie and I’m 24, Any Love But Mine is my first novel and it was published on the same day that I got married. I live in the UK with my husband and baby boy Charlie, when I’m not reading or writing I am running around after my little monster! I love to read and I cannot put a book down if I get into – I will miss sleep to finish reading a book!

-          What was your inspiration for this book?
My inspiration was the myth between Eros and Psyche, I reread it a bunch of times and then kept imagining what would have happened if things had gone differently. From there I invented a whole new life for Eros which led to his Erosian’s which led to Acacia who the story is about.

-          When did you first start writing?
I always enjoyed writing at school but mainly wrote poetry, I stopped writing for a while when I left school and started work and then started writing again when I was at University. I actually started writing Any Love But Mine (which was then called Forbidden to love) whilst I was meant to be studying for my final year exams!

-          Are you interested in Greek mythology?
Yes, I love greek mythology! I love the stories, the beauty of everything, the extravagance and pretty much everything.

-          Which Greek goddess are you?
Hmm I’d quite like to be Athena the goddess of wisdom

-          Your age?

-          Is there a secret lovestory from your own life you wanna  share ?
There may have been moments in my past which have inspired certain parts of Any love but mine but no I’m not going to give details away on what they were or who they involved!

-          Team Josh or Team Luca?
I’m team Luca but that doesn’t mean Acacia is going to end up with him

-          Are you currently working on any books? If so, what is it?
I am working on the sequel to Any Love But Mine

Thanks Debbie for your time!
